Not to brag or anything…but I’ve sorta become an expert on tea over the years. It’s not because I’m obsessed with tea time…it’s because I am a singer. And like most singers…I will try just about anything to keep my voice in shape.
This really becomes important when I’m on tour. Simple teas with no kick just don’t do the trick for me when I need my throat to clear up NOW. So…I’ve put together a list of the teas that do an awesome job at being soft and loving to your throat while also tasting great.
As if the name doesn’t say enough. You know what, nevermind. The name DOES say enough. Go get some. The Republic of Tea makes this delicious drink
English Tea Store white tea is AWESOME. And not only is it awesome, but it also boosts your health — almost immediately.
What can I say…I’m into this one. Yogi Tea makes a whole lot of awesome teas…but this Peach Detox tea is one of the greater teas they make. Dandelion. Cornsilk. Peach. I’m not sure how they fuse all of these ingredients together to make it so great…but they do.
Ever have a scratchy feeling you just can’t make go away? Traditional Medicinals has a rad, soothing cup that not only calms those itchy feelings but also actually helps to heal you from the inside out (naturally, of course). Plus, if you’re a singer, it’s a GREAT beverage to sip right before a big audition or show.
I’d highly recommend you investigate all of the flavors on the market by the companies above. I’ve always been satisfied with their products and hey, when I’m not drinking wine or coffee…tea is a great way to chill out and make my over-all health, as well as vocal health, gleam.

I’m a fan of this ginersnap tea. I can’t remember who makes it, but it’s usually for sale around Christmastime. It’s so yummy. I tried jasmine tea a few days ago, but when I tried it, it tasted like soap. XP Can’t say I like it… smells good, though.
I love the rooibos and vanilla tea… it’s sweet enough to not need sugar like some herbal teas do, but not tooo sweet. Also, Green tea with peppermint is fantastic after meals.. And I recently found an amazing herbal tea by Clipper - Banana and toffee flavour! It’s fantastic stuff!
Strawberry Vanilla tea is where it’s at.
Chai, Raspberry, Passionfruit, chocolate, Apple spice, lemon, peppermint, pumpkin pie, caramel creme, long island cola,
what can I say? Tea is awesome!
