Not everyone is on birth control, and for those of us who have, for one reason or another, said no thanks to those tiny multicolored pills, figuring out when Aunt Flow is going to arrive can be somewhat of a hassle.
We’ve all been there; you wake up and instantly feel stabby pains gnawing at your insides, already knowing you’re going to have to do laundry before you throw off the covers to investigate. Or you suddenly sit up a little straighter in your chair, taking a moment to process the fact that yes, your period has indeed started without warning, right in the middle of class.
Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to find a pattern, a method to the madness of your menstral cycle? Well, now there is — on the internet, no less! Mon.thly.info is a website that was invented to help women everywhere keep track of their cycles with a super simple, super clean interface.
“Each time you start your period, add the date to your Mon.thly account“, the website states, “and it will use your history to predict the next time your cycle will start. This provides you with a record of your menstrual cycles, which can be an important addition to your medical history. If you want, Mon.thly will also email you a customized reminder before or on your next estimated start date.”
I mean, could you do this on a calender or in a journal? Of course. But who has time to actually write something down by hand? Plus, can the calendar in your kitchen send you emails? Nope. And getting cheerful, helpful emails is always fun — especially when those emails help you avoid inching to the bathroom against the wall in those new white summer pants.

Hm. Do we really need a website to predict our next period? Do you think if our period doesn’t come it sends an email that says, “get pregnancy test. now.”?
HA HA!!
that would be convenient…
This would be cool if my period was more like the moon cycle and less like the weather report.
Is there a “Your Body Is Retarded” version of this?!
I actually love this site.
AND it looks cute!
But yeah, it calculates your average expected date, it’ll never be perfect, but it’s good to know around which date I know I’ll start getting bitchy, haha
There’s also MyMonthlyCycles.com, it’s probably the exact same thing, but it’s awesome!
I’ve been using Mon.thly.info for a few months now and I like it a lot. It’s very simple. There are no ads. And I can leave little notes about how I’m feeling on each day. I just recently went off the ring (ick) and am happy to be free of artificial hormone control!
