It Was Good For Me, Vince. Was it Good For You?

entourage-1.jpgSunday was very exciting for me, as I welcomed Adrien Grenier back into my life with a fresh episode of Entourage. And I gotta say, it was a pretty good start to the second half of the third season.

Here’s a quick recap: Drama finally gets a bigger break with a primetime series, and relishes in his billboard standing tall over LA. While Turtle takes on the challenge of putting Vince’s birthday party together and blowing a TON of moolah, E reads through some lame script about British people, given to him by Amanda, Vince’s new agent. And, of course, she’s hot. It’s that chick from the Pauly Shore movie, Son In Law, which I’ve seen more times than I’d like to admit.

Anyway, she takes the guys to the Lakers game as Vince’s present, and that’s where Ari sees Vince and starts his jealous tirade. Ari gives Vince a copy of the script for the movie Vince was dying to land throughout the beginning of the season, messing up Vince’s confidence in Amanda early on. After Turtle realizes the party is too expensive, he ends up getting sponsors. And who is there to help blow out Vince’s birthday candles? The Victoria’s Secret models in their underwear, of course! The show comes to an end when Ari basically professes his man-love for Vince, gets into a huge fight with Amanda, and Vince’s party is a success.

It’s just a matter of time before Ari wins Vince back as a client. But we’ll have to deal with more desperate shenanigans before that happens.

This week the word on the street is we should all be prepared to see a good side of Ari. I know, shocking. Apparently he does some kind of good deed. Best news of all? Now, I can look forward to spending every Sunday night with Vince and his loyal posse. Back to unreachable amounts of fame and wealth and the unnecessary over-glamorization of celebrity in America. Ahh…HBO and the world make sense again.
