I’m not quite sure why, but I really, really can’t stand Jennifer Aniston.
It might be the media. Ever since her break-up with Brad Pitt (which seemed to be more his doing than hers…at least action wise), she hasn’t exactly been the golden darling of the paparazzi she was during her Friends years. If she isn’t covering her face or frowning, she’s giving interviews telling everyone that she’s “perfectly fine” and “completely happy”. Combine those lackluster quotes with movies that have, for the most part, died a quiet death at the box office, and you’ve got a movie star who’s more than just grumpy and boring—you’ve got a movie star who’s losing her appeal.
Aniston’s partnership with SmartWater isn’t winning her any fans either. As CC’s own Solmaaz pointed out, all those cheesy pictures of Jen gripping a bottle of the stuff do nothing but remind us how gluttonous Hollywood celebs are. It’s not enough that the girl probably has over 30 million in the bank, she has to go and become an advertising whore to a giant corporation.
Its easy money, sure, but the least Ms. Aniston could do is have a sense of humor about it. Smile a little, Jen. Stop perpetuating that Ice Queen reputation that’s making everyone side with Angie and your ex-husband. God knows watching an ex take up with another woman is a horrifying experience, but telling everyone you don’t want their sympathy isn’t going to help us warm up to you. Open up, be vulnerable, and stop hiding! You’re a celebrity. People are going to take your picture everywhere you go.

I completely disagree with you…I still love Jen, and so does everyone else I know. What movies has she done that are crap?? The break up? That was hysterical and sad…great acting. Derailed?? Kick ass movie w/ her & Clive Owen…so, what movies of her’s do you think sucked? You know what? I think YOU suck…Jen is the all-American girl, and we still love her to death. Angelina is a whoring skank, and Brad looks like shit since he’s been w/ her…and I hope their relationship goes to shit…she’ll cheat on him eventually, she always does!! I don’t like her so much , actually since she and brad broke up I didn’t follow any news about Jennifer , but she’s also a good actress but not as good as Angi … well I don’t like her so much and also I don’t hate her though.
Yeah, I agree - I have never liked Jennifer Aniston and never really knew why someone like Brad Pitt would have been interested (She is average looking and is an okay actress). The fact is, Brad slept with another woman while he was married, they got pregnant, Angelina gave BP an ultimatum (leave her or the baby and I leave you - this would have resulted in an even BIGGER scandal), there was no choice but for JA & BP to end their marriage. End of story.

Jennifer is pure class. She may snub the paparazzi but would you like someone up your ass everyday. I know I sure wouldn’t. She had to go through a heartbreaking time in front of millions of people. Most famous and normal people (besides Paris Hilton or someone that needs attention nonstop to feel good about themselves) want their pravicy. By the way….Most guys want a woman like Jen. Someone they can bring out with their friends and take home to mom and dad with out being embarrassed. I know my mom and dad would rather see my brothers with Jen over Angie and most of Hollywood. I don’t want to bash Angie because she does alot to better the lives of the unlucky, esp. children, but Jen is #1 in my book.
I think it’s slightly amusing to listen to people talk about this topic.
People get upset about what they can’t understand. People refer to Angelina as a “cum-guzzling whore” because she has decided to raise a family and not marry Brad Pitt. There are plenty of people in the world opting out of marriage. Marriage is a religious institution, and many people aren’t getting married now because they aren’t into the whole religious thing. She is not a cum-guzzling whore. You devote your entire life to your children and saving the world and then dare call someone else by that name.
Jen is losing some of her luster. At first it was easy to feel bad for her. Now it’s just old and played out. Your friends wouldn’t nuture your for years after your break-up, they’d tell you to get the hell over it and move on, so why do we coddle her like a child?
And p.s. The Break-Up was good, but it wasn’t one of the “funniest films of all time.” People are so jaded these days as to what’s good and what’s not. I guess the fact that Heidi Montag and Paris Hilton were allowed to sing for money proves that.
