Like always, the books were better then the tv show. In the books Blair has an eating disorder, and Jenny suffers from huge boobs, so shis always uncomfortable. And thats also why Chuck wanted her. Dans dad was a poet, not a musician. Their mom was dead. I thought cutting all these out was uneccessery. It would have been more intresting and people would be able to relate abit more. As a GG addict, I have to say that Blaire's disappointingly insecure, Jenny looks hardcore anorexic, and the whole "Dan's hot dad" thing is weird. Serena's perfect though. I have read all of the books, and the books are way better. Blair is controlling and bitchy, and Serena becomes totally insecure. In the books, Eric is older, hotter, and a freshman at Brown. Serena comes home for Nate, not because of her bother. Nates dad is an admiral and a total hardass. Blairs mom doesnt work, and dates Cyrus. Jenny is more insecure and has the boob problem, and her mom is in Prague, shes not dead. I was totally disappointed from the show, but I will watch every week. I am a gosssip girl fanatic.
