I despise the applications. 99% of them are the devil. And I hate going on someone’s profile that has added every application under the sun making it nearly impossible to find their wall or photos.

You can now block applications. I no longer recieve vampire or werewolf notifications (though I was pretty awesome on them for a week… till it stopped being fun LOL) and no more little f*$@%@ green patch! LAWL!

I agreed with this article in general. I must admit that when I first joined facebook I accepted every request for applications, but it all got out of hand. I finally learned how to change settings so that none of these events show up on newsfeeds (there is much more interesting stuff going on than ‘A’ sent roses to ‘B’) and to unclick the box for newsfeed. In the end, I ended up deleting almost all applications apart from a few that I, and several facebook friends, use a lot. I have also started blocking applications I don’t want to add when I get requests. Much easier, and allows me to get on with enjoying the best bits of facebook.
