Sometimes you fall in love. And sometimes you get your heart broken because you fell in love.
You recollect the pieces of yourself that the relationship scattered all over and eventually, you become stronger and you move on. You start to like other guys and you begin to wonder what it was that possessed you to the point of tears over ‘that’ guy before…
He treated you like crap.
He made you cry.
He was the one always screwing up and then the whole thing finally ended — exploding, despite your efforts to make it work.
You get over it.
I don’t know about you girls, but this seems to be the story of my life. All of my exes eventually come back around to me. Not just one or two…ALL of them (and there are a couple handfuls). They make me so sad that I can’t eat and then within a year, they’re flirting with me again, wanting to hang out again, telling me they’re sorry they didn’t realize before how good I was for them.
Is this out of the ordinary? Or do everyone’s exes do this?
It drives me crazy.

I know exactly where you’re coming from. I’ve been in this situation with the same person for about 7 years, which you may be saying “you’re an idiot” but he’s my best friend making it even harder to just let it go. He’s the guy that leaves for a while and then suddenly comes back, all apologetic and then does it all over again. And I can’t seem to muster up the strength to do anything about it. It’s messed up and no good, but it’s life. And life is messy.
so true, this has happened to me recently too. i was with this boy for 2 and a half years and when we broke up it hit me so hard that i took an entire year to even look at another boy and feel over him. now he calls me up from time to time, hes really nice and all the bad (terrible) parts of how we broke up seem to vaporise! i know i mustn’t get involved again i KNOW i MUSTNT! but… i always pick up the phone when he calls.
that’s definitely not out of the ordinary- and guys have been doing that for a pretty long time. not only has that happened to me, but my mom has told me that every one of her exes came crawling back.
weird guys! this is happening to me right now…and it sucks. such an emotional roller coaster…
