They were alone when he did it. And criminal rape cases - especially cases of date rape, or cases where the victim consented to a certain degree of sexual activity before saying the word “no” - are notoriously brutal and hard to win.

The burden of proof is always on the accuser, who is frequently subjected to vicious assaults on her character by defense attorneys and the media. Prosecuting a rapist can be nearly as traumatic as the experience of sexual assault.

So, yeah. For understandable reasons, many, if not most survivors don’t report being assaulted. Many, if not most rapists are never brought to justice.

If overhyping network premieres were communicable diseases, then last night’s Heroes premiere was a severe case gonorrhea.

Hayden Panettiere looked cute, and her new boy-toy is a little too metrosexual for my tastes - but I am not one for judging. No Ali Larter …tear…but plenty of whiny super heroes. To make matters worse, the creepy-old-gay-asian guy for Star Trek is dead? Hello…can I have a double serving of disappointment?

Here is my issue, if you are going to end the season with a huge hoopla, AND promote the “revolutionary premiere” - do NOT serve up some screen writers first draft at character development and plot setups for the rest of the season. It has been way too long, but not much longer. The hotties from HBO’s hit series Entourage return to the small screen 17 days from today- We-hew!

Sundays have been such a bore. I’ve actually found myself hitting a text book or two- but Vince, Pirvert and the boys are certain to put an end to that. Besides, Grey’s, Entourage hands down, has the hottest cast and the hippest story lines.

So mark it down. April 8th. Sundays are back.

So I was just taking a bath and reading In Touch… I mean… diligently studying… and there was an interview with my favorite actor from Heroes – Masi Oka! Maybe I’m super behind the times, but I had no idea that he was featured as one of the Asian-American whiz kids on the cover of Time Magazine in 1987.

Because I love to procrastinate… I mean… work hard… I logged onto Nexis to read the article and glean a bit about Masi’s history as a whiz kid. Uh, he wasn’t actually in the article.
